Die Alibaba-Quartalszahlen wurden soeben veröffentlicht. Hier die wichtigsten Kennzahlen.
Der Umsatz liegt bei 12,7 Milliarden Dollar. Das ist ein Plus von 56% gegenüber dem 4. Quartal 2016.
Der Non GAAP-Gewinn liegt bei 1,63 Dollar und damit 18% höher als im Vorjahresquartal.
Die Aktie notiert vorbörslich mit -2,7%.
Auf den ersten Blick kurz nach Veröffentlichung starke Zahlen, und auch der Ausblick wirkt stark:
“We had an excellent quarter, with revenue growth of 56% year-over-year. Given our strong performance
and clear visibility as we approach the end of the fiscal year, we are taking up our 2018 fiscal year revenue guidance to 55% to 56%, which is an increase over the top end of the range of 53% that we communicated last quarter,” said Maggie Wu, Chief Financial Officer of Alibaba Group. “Our core business generated significant free cash flow of US$7.1 billion during the quarter, enabling us to invest in New Retail, cloud computing, digital entertainment and globalization.”
– Revenue from core commerce increased 57% year-over-year to RMB73,244 million (US$11,257 million).
– Revenue from cloud computing increased 104% year-over-year to RMB3,599 million (US$553 million).
– Revenue from digital media and entertainment increased 33% year-over-year to RMB5,413 million (US$832 million).
– Revenue from innovation initiatives and others decreased 9% year-over-year to RMB772 million (US$119 million).
