Der ISM Index (Gewerbe; März) ist mit 55,4 schwächer ausgefallen als erwartet (Prognose war 57,6; Vormonat war 57,1). Das ist der schwächste Wert seit September 2020!
Die Komponenten:
– Beschäftigung 50,9, (Vormonat war 56,3)
– Auftragseingang 53,5 (Vormonat war 53,8)
– Preise 84,0 (Vormonat war 87,1, heute erwartet 87,5 – das bedeutet aber dennoch, dass die Preise zum Vormonat weiter deutlichgestiegen sind, da alle Werte über 50 weitere Anstiege bedeuten)
ISM respondent: "Long delays at ports are still providing supply challenges. Inflation is out of control. Fuel costs, and therefore freight costs, are leading the upward cycle. At some point, the economy must give way; it will be tough to have growth with such pressure on costs."
