Der Umsatz (angepasst) liegt bei 23,5 Milliarden Dollar (Vorjahresquartal 24,66 / Erwartungen für heute 23,74). Der Gewinn liegt bei 0,70 Dollar pro Aktie (Vorjahresquartal 0,85 / Erwartungen für heute 0,63). Der Umsatz im Bereich Handel liegt bei 3,75 Milliarden Dollar bei 3,84 Erwartung.
2,1 Milliarden Dollar wurden als Bankenrettungsabgabe an die Einlagensicherung FDIC abgeführt. Die Aktie notiert vorbörslich mit -0,8 %.
CEO-Kommentar: From Chair and CEO Brian Moynihan: “We reported solid fourth quarter and full-year results as all our businesses achieved strong organic growth, with record client activity and digital engagement. This activity led to good loan demand and growth in deposits in the quarter and full-year net income of $26.5 billion. Our expense discipline allowed us to continue investing in growth initiatives. Strong capital and liquidity levels position us well to continue to deliver responsible growth in 2024.”

Our strong capital position, in addition to solid earnings, kept us well above our current minimum capital requirements and enabled us to return $12 billion to shareholders in common stock dividends and share repurchases in 2023 while supporting customer growth.”
